Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener Review

Today I'm writing my review of the Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener. They have a whole line dedicated to reducing pores and oily skin, but I decided to buy the toner/freshener first because I heard a lot of good things about it, and I was running out of my usual toner anyway! I bought my bottle for just over £8 from an Ebay seller called bhg8988a - it was very quick shipping and my package even included a few free samples! I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now, and so far I really like it! I would have liked to include lots of nice pictures in this post, but there wasn't really a lot to show (>_<)

The freshener claims to have seven benefits in one, and these include:
Deep cleansing pores
Maintaining a PH balance of about 4.5
Controls a large amount of sebum
Minimize appearance of pores
Refine skin tone
Keep the elasticity of pores
Moisturize inside and outside of skin

I use this every morning and night after washing my face, I like to put a little bit onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face. I wasn't expecting any miracles to happen to my skin, since this is just a toner, but I actually noticed a difference after a few weeks of use! I feel like my skin has gotten less oily already, and I don't notice any large pores (not that they were particularly bad before). I've had no breakouts or anything after using it, and it feels very refreshing and pleasant on your skin when you apply it.

I don't need a lot of the product each time I use it, so I think this bottle will last me quite a while, but I think I'll repurchase it even once it's finished. For me, there are not really any faults with the product. It doesn't smell delicious or anything, but it doesn't smell bad in my opinion - but it's a refreshing, 'clean' scent if that makes sense. Plus the packaging is typically Etude House, so cute and pretty! I like having it out on my dresser because it looks nice hehe, I don't know about you guys but I'm a huge sucker for cute packaging!

Basically I really like this product and now I want to try some of the other things from the Wonder Pore range! I will continue to use this for a long time, and hopefully I will continue to love it(: Let me know in the comments what you think, have you ever tried anything from the Wonder Pore line? Thanks for reading guys!

Etude House Haul + Samples!

I'm here today with an Etude House Haul, I picked up a few things that I've been dying to try out from various places. I made purchases at Yesstyle and also on Ebay, though in retrospect I wish I'd bought everything from Ebay since it was cheaper and the service was better (-_-). Basically I was excited because Yesstyle were giving 20% of all Tonymoly products, so I wanted to buy one of the cute blushers. But after I paid they told me it wasn't in stock but they would order it in as soon as possible. A month later they sent an Email saying they couldn't get it, and THEN they dispatched the rest of my order. Omg it took so long to get here... On Ebay though, both sellers got my item to me in perfect condition in less than two weeks.

All Products and Samples
The samples that I received from the various sites include:

Tonymoly Aqua Aura Mask Sheet (it's got JYJ on it too hehe)
Tonymoly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack
Hanskin Gold Caviar Nutrition BB Cream
Skin79 Super BB Cream
Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream
Skinfood Honey Black tea BB Cream

If you want to see my first impressions of any of these, let me know in the comments^^

The products that I puchased

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener

Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips - JPK002

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream - W12
Let me know which products you would like me to review the most, and I'll get a full review of the most requested ones up within the next couple of weeks! Thanks for reading guys^-^

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

On my makeup haul post, a lot of you left comments asking for a review of the Maybelline Baby Lips which are so popular in the UK and US at the moment. I'm not that great at writing reviews, and my camera isn't that good either, but I'm still going to do it! I picked these up pretty recently at Boots because my friend recommended them to me, and they were so affordable, costing just £2.99 each /( ^o^)/ a huge plus when buying makeup these days (I swear it's so expensive now -_- ).

From Left to Right - Pink Punch and Cherry Me
I picked up two because they were so cheap, the colours were Pink Punch and Cherry Me. They sell other colours too, but a few of them are colourless and are to be used as lip balms I guess, but that's boring! I wanted ones with colour, and I'd definitely recommend these two if you want the same^-^

The packaging is really cute, and I like that it's a twistable tube (probably not the right word but whatever lol) since it's more hygienic and easy to apply. They are fairly small and designed to fit in your handbag or makeup bag without taking up much room, which is a plus for me since I have a habit of filling my bags with stuff I don't even need! They act very much like tinted lipbalms, and feel really moisturizing when you wear them - even after a few hours my lips don't feel dry like they do when I wear stains or tints(:

Cherry Me and Pink Punch
Sorry about my hairy arms lol, that's the drawback of Macro mode on cameras -_- But at least you can see the colours a bit better right? It took a few swipes of product to get this payout, and as you can see they are actually quite pigmented - more so than I first thought. They are pretty easy to build up on the lips, and as long as you reapply once or twice they should stay like that for a while. Saying that, they don't really last all day, I find they rub of quite easily which is annoying for me since I'm in lessons a lot :l

Here they are swatched on my lips, as you can see there is definitely some colour there, the pink one especially comes out well. I like that they are quite sheer because it means I can wear them with everyday makeup, and if I need to reapply without a mirror (basically all the time thesedays omg) then it doesn't matter because it won't show if I'm not perfect. I think they really do rival the Revlon Lip Butters, though I prefer my lip butters because of the colour range~ but the price is most definitely a downside.

Final Verdict:

Pros
Moisturising
So cheap
Pretty pigmented
They taste yummy!
Small and hygienic packaging
Buildable and easy to apply

Cons -
Don't last all day without reapplying
Not a big range of colours (yet)

Overall Score: 4/5 (^-^)

Makeup Haul ~ Lip Products

I just want to say a quick thank you to everyone for leaving such kind and positive responses to my last post, it was my first proper FOTD and I was a little nervous about putting it up because I wasn't sure what people would think. But I am so happy that you guys are always so supportive and sweet of me, and I'm glad that I have the opportunity to connect with you all through my blog!

Anyway, today I'm going to share my most recent makeup haul - as I briefly mentioned before I went to a local fashion show at the weekend. While I wasn't allowed to photograph the actual show, I did get to go shopping afterwards, so I have a few things to make a post out of! I did buy quite a lot, but I wanted to show just the lip products today, since the majority of my beauty purchases fit into this category. Let me know in the comments if you've tried any of these products before, or if there are any I should really be looking into! I hope you enjoy this post guys, thanks for reading! ^-^

Maybelline Baby Lips - Pink Punch and Cherry Me
I finally got my hands on a couple of these Baby Lips! They've been so popular lately but I never got the chance to get some for myself, since they are so cheap (only about £3) I picked up two. My first impressions are quite good, although it isn't as pigmented as I imagined, they are super moisturizing and are so easy to wear and reapply. My favourite is the cherry colour, just because it's more noticeable on the lips.

Revlon Colourstay - 35 Backstage
Secondly, I got sucked in by the sales assistant at the Revlon stand and I ended up buying this lipstick. The colour is so nice, although it looks kind of brown in the tube, the actual colour is a pretty dark mulberry. I just thought it was perfect for fall, and it's supposed to last all day too - but we'll have to see about that hah.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses - 130 Don't stop blushing
I do still have the intention of buying some lip tints online from Etude House or Tonymoly, but I wanted to try out some of the Western brands beforehand. I picked this one mostly because the colour is super pretty, but also because the felt tip applicator intrigued me! I've only had this for a few days but I've used it to create a gradient lip look (which I'll post pictures of sometime) that I wore twice to College. I got quite a lot of compliments about it, and it seriously does last all day, but I recommend topping it up after eating.

Soap&Glory Lip/Cheek tint - Rosy Glow
There's a few of these out there in the market now, but I picked up this one because the packaging was cute, and it wasn't too expensive. It looks bright in the tube but it blends fairly easily, as long as you don't let it dry first! The only thing I'm not too keen on is that the taste is very bitter when you first apply it. However, once it dries the taste fades, and it does last for a long time, though I've yet to try it on the cheeks.
