Twice a year, there is a fashion week at Bristol - my best friend and I go every time. And I must say, as much as I loved big events like the Clothes Show, there's something so friendly an exclusive about the Bristol shows, especially seeing as we always get front row tickets(: Since it's right next to the Mall, you can go to the high street shops, and the pieces that are featured on the catwalk are conveniently marked with a label - so you can actually find and purchase the outfits that you see! Of course, it's a must to look your best at any fashion show, so I went for a cute floral outfit perfect for the springtime^-^
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with fancy dress. Don't get me wrong, I love putting on costumes and spending hours over my makeup - it's just deciding what to go as, without breaking the bank. Since I'll only be wearing it for one night, I try to put together an outfit using things I can get cheap, or that I already own. After some deliberation, this time I decided to dress as a doll, simple but super cute as well. All you really need to create a similar look is a cute dress and lots of eye makeup^-^
My dress actually came from a stall at Camden Market when I went to London a little while ago. It cost me £20, and it was what inspired me to try the doll outfit in the first place.
