Mini Beauty Haul

I didn't buy much, but I'm very happy with these products.
I recently went out shopping with my friend, I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I ended up buying these make up items that I'd thought I would share my opinions on. I really appriciate any comments, let me know if you have any of these items, and what you think of them!
Stila Foundation - Shade a
I bought this foundation in Tk Maxx, I don't normally shop there but I recently discovered they have an extremely good beauty section with very good brands for very low prices. I spent ages looking around and then I came across a bunch of Stila make up, so I picked up a set of three items (The other two are below). However the reason I bought the set was because of this foundation. I've been looking for a good foundation and this one is perfect for my skin tone. Seeing as I'm quite pale naturally I struggle to find a light foundation but this is perfect. I recommend this but it is quite expensive, amazingly in Tk Maxx I got the whole set of three products for £10, when the RRP was actually £42!

Stila Rouge Pot - Waterlily
I only really bought the Stila make up set for the foundation, but I really like this product after buying it. The pot contains a small amount of what they call 'cheek mousse'. The colour is actually very pretty and blends quite well. I do plan on using this, and for the price I got it, you can't go wrong really.

Stila Perfecting Foundation Stick - Shade 07
This is the third and final item in my Stila set, I didn't really want it but I had to have it anyway. It's what it says it is, a stick of foundation. However it isn't my shade at all, it is quite dark. Personally I don't see the logic behind having a very pale foundation and a dark one in the same set, but maybe that's why it's so cheap. I don't mind really, hopefully if I tan a lot in the summer I can use it or I'll see if my mum can use it.

Collection 2000 Nail Polish - Mint Mojo
I've raved about these nail polishes before, and whenever I'm make up shopping I cannot resist picking up one for only £1.79. I picked this mint one because I don't own any mint nail polishes and it was the nicest one they had there. By the way, I have been looking for the Collection 2000 nail polish called 'Dynasty' but I can't seem to find it in my drugstores. If you know why or where I can get some, please let me know!

Natural Collection Bronzer - Golden Glow
Just a basic item really, but I really needed a new bronzer. I don't wear it much but I like to have some, especially in the summer. This one only cost me about £2 but it does the job pretty well, and there's no point in me spending a lot of money on a really good bronzer to be honest.

Finished!

I finally finished my whole list of favourites! I managed to do one every day which was awesome and I think I've now got a sufficient starting point for this blog(: If you're a new blogger like I am then I recommend a mini-project like that if you're stuck for ideas.

Some of my favourite products have actually started to change whilst doing this, because I've been shopping and bought some new bits and pieces that I've tried and love. I'll do a little haul post sometime to show all that, but I've had a few ideas for future posts whilst posting every day, which is another benefit I guess.

Thank you if you actually read any or all of the posts that I made up, or even if you just looked at the pictures! Feel free to comment on anything and give me ideas/improvements I could make.

Peace out.

Perfume, Hoodie and Earrings

Hoodie - David and Goliath
I wanted a hoodie from David and Goliath for ages, I have a few T-shirts but I felt like I needed a big comfy hoodie. This one I got on sale for christmas from my aunt and uncle, it was £20 reduced from £30. I love the design on the front, it's adorable! But I also think this is the most comfy piece of clothing that I own and is perfect for lazy days at home or a friends house(:
Perfume - Vera Wang Princess
I currently only have a little sample bottle, but I'm trying to use it very sparingly because it's nearly gone. The full sized is quite expensive and I can't afford it, so I plan to wait until my next birthday and ask for it as a present. But this is my favourite scent, it's very girly and not to heavy. "Radiant and whimsical... A charming, fruity vanilla." Sounds about right.

Earrings - www.Randomeyesboutique.com
How awesome are these?! I bought these at the Clothes Show Live in 2010. I haven't worn them much, but when I have I get a lot of attention from these suckers. They were fairly inexpensive and are just a fun, unusual piece of jewellery that I like to have in my collection.

Powder, Top and Belt

Top - Sainsburys
Yes, I will buy clothing from my supermarket and not care. I like this top because it was the first car print top that I found after Prada came out with their design which was very similar. It's very sheer, but it is very cute on and can be dressed up or down in my opinion.
Belt - River Island
I don't wear belts very often so I hardly have any, this is my most worn one. It goes with everything and it has one of the loops that hold the loose end part. I hate it when a belt doesn't have one of those. I use hairbands is similar colours instead.

Powder - Collection 2000
Oh yeah, you guessed it, it's Collection 2000 again! This thing has lasted me absoulutly ages and I use it nearly every day. It's very good at setting foundation, but also for making my face less shiny because I get quite an oily T-Zone most days:(

Blush, Shorts and Hat

Just a quick post today, I'm just heading out to a party(:

Natural Collection Blush - Peach Melba
This blush is awesome, it was inexpensive and it's suprisingly pigmeted. It goes on well and looks lovely on my cheeks, especially in the summer.
Hat - Dorothy Perkins
This hat is great for the summer, it protects my head and hair whilst being able to jazz up any outfit. It goes with most colours and I think it's just the perfect, simple summer hat.
Shorts - New Look
I don't own many shorts (I prefer skirts) but these are my favourite because they're a little different to normal denim, yet they're still super comfy and go with a lot of things.

Lipgloss, Jumper and Bracelet

Bracelet - Turkey
I don't know where you can get these is England, but this bracelet comes from somewhere in Turkey. My best friend bought it for me while she was on holiday there, so it might not be the prettiest or most expensive bracelet that I own, but it is special to me, so that's why it's my favourite.

Lipgloss - Jemma Kidd
I'm not really a lipgloss person, so I don't own many and I don't wear them that much. Maybe I'll get into them one day, but at the moment I prefer just a lipstick or tinted lipbalm. However, if I had to pick a favourite one, it'd be this coral coloured one from Jemma Kidd. It feels really nice and I do like the colour of it. Currently I'm looking for a good coral lipstick which would look nice with it, please comment any recommendations below!

Jumper - H and M
It's getting super warm now, so I don't wear jumpers at the moment, but for winter/fall, my favourite jumper is this one from H and M. It's so cute and comfy so I get a lot of wear out of it. It is a little oversized on me, but I like to wear jumpers that are slightly baggy so it's ok. I don't know the exact price but it was very inexpensive, I believe it was under £10.

Eyeliner, Coat and Bag

Bag - Accessorize
I've had this bag for over a year now and I use it nearly everyday for school, for me it is a good shape and size to carry around but also, the strap is very strong so won't snap like some of the other bags that I own have done before. The inside is a floral ditsy print which is so cute, but you don't really see it.

Coat - Can't remember :L
I've had this coat for ages but I don't know where I got it from, and it has no label on the inside for no reason, but I'm sure there are similar ones all over the place. The one I have has lasted me a long time and it keeps me really warm during winter and it's very soft. I also like it because I can wear it with anything because it's simple, I wear it in school and everywhere outside of school as well.

Eyeliner - Collection 2000
Woohoo! It's Collection 2000 again! I am a liquid eyeliner person. I find them easier to apply than gel and I like the effect that it gives more than pencil. But this is my Holy Grail make up product because I use it literally every day I wear makeup and it lasts forever. I love love love this so much and can't recommend it enough to those who like to wear liquid eyeliner.

Foundation, Shirt and Necklace

Foundation - No7 Intelligent Foundation
I don't wear a lot of foundation, and if I do I don't need a lot of coverage. This foundation works very well for me (however it's different for everyone), the colour does work quite well with my skin tone and makes my skin look more awake and glowy. I am currently looking for a better foundation, but I am yet to find one that suits my skin because I'm super pale...

Necklace - Accessorize
One day in November, I was out shopping in town with my friend in Accessorize when I spotted this necklace. I really liked it but it was over £10 and I was pretty skint, so I didn't buy it and then I really regretted it. So a few weeks later I went back in and it was OUT OF STOCK. I nearly cried. But my lovely mother bought it for me on my birthday and I was like this ---> :O and then ---> :D

Shirt - H and M
This shirt looks kind of blue in the picture, but it's actually mint. It was the first mint piece of clothing I bought, it was for the summer and we all know mint is in for spring/summer. It's quite long on me, and looks good with leggings or skinny jeans underneath. I know it's simple but I really like it.

Nail Polish, Trousers and Scarf

Collection 2000 Nail Polish - Candyfloss
Once again, Collection 2000 reaches my favourites! The nail polish is awesome, I currently own six bottles (but I'm looking for more) and they're only about £1.79 each which is amazing. Most of the colours I have look good with just one coat, and they dry pretty fast too. The only bad thing is that they chip after two or three days, but that's fine for me personally. I really couldn't recommend these enough!

Scarf - Present (No label)
I don't know where this is from, I think it may be from some kind of market stall by where I live, but I just think it's a lovely summer scarf that isn't too heavy, but just adds something to a boring outfit when I want to look casual or if I can't be bothered.

Trousers - Marks and Spencers
These are one of my most expensive pairs of trousers, they were about £40, but so worth it. They're so so so soft and comfy to wear all day long. I also like the colour because it's just a bit different to normal blue jeans, but still goes with a lot of outfits. I haven't worn them a lot, but I can see them becoming a bit of a wardrobe staple item for me!

Eyeshadow, Skirt and Boots

Boots - New Look
I've had these boots for quite a while, and I adore them! They're suprisingly comfy even with the heel (which I need because I'm so short...). They go with loads of outfits, especially with plain jeans. They look great under the jeans or over for more of a statement. I don't think they cost me that much, and they seems to be very good quality.

Collection 2000 eyeshadow - Mocha Choc
I'm just going to start by saying I absoulutly LOVE Collection 2000 make up because it's so cheap but the majority of the items are good quality. I use this eyeshadow trio basically everyday. It looks natural, but really makes my eyes less boring and look much bigger.

Skirt - Topshop
I've posted about this badboy before. It's one of my favourite things in my entire wardrobe, partially because it is quite expensive for a skirt and it is the first thing that I have ever bought from Topshop. The picture is pretty but oh my goodness, the real thing is sooooooooooooo beautiful and feminine. If it does warm up this week, I will be going out in it somewhere. Fingers crossed!

Lipstick, T-Shirt and Flats

Flats - Quiz
These shoes are also fairly new and I think I may have discovered a new love for nude shoes! These flats are awesome because they are super comfy, but are also super pretty and girly(: I do have other flats that I wear more often, but I feel like these are my nicest pair.
Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipstick - Shade 01
Okay, granted, I hardly every wear bright red lipstick. But when I do, I want to feel special and this lipstick does just the trick. I think it really complements my skin tone, and is also quite long lasting whilst feeling nice when I put it on (it isn't too drying or anything).

T-Shirt - Goodie Two Sleeves
I bought this adorable T-shirt when I was at the Clothes Show at the NEC last year. It was a stall, and I'm not 100% where you can buy it, but the tag said 'Goodie Two Sleeves' so I guess they have a website. But yeah, I love this T-shirt because it's so cute and casual and if I wear it out, people I know always stop me and say they love it(:

Mascara, Dress and Heels.

Dress - Warehouse
This is my current favourite dress in my wardrobe, I bought it last summer but I still love it so much! It's very easy to wear and I don't need to wear loads of make up or jewellery with it(: It's not quite warm enough in the UK for me to start wearing this again, but I hope the sun comes out soon.

Heels - Next
I bought these shoes quite recently and haven't worn them out yet, I'm not used to walking in heels yet so I hope they're fairly comfy. But anyway, I love the colour, it goes with so much and I know it isn't visible, but the inside is so cute.

Mascara - Soap and Glory
I was so excited when Soap and Glory launched a make up line, however I was a bit bummed because I really wanted to try it, but the prices were quite high for me so I wasn't sure (in case they weren't great). You can imagine how happy I was when, I got a Thick and Fast mascara in an issue of Elle magazine for free! I now use this every day and am looking to buy the blush and the eyeliner from them next(:

Nail Polish Wishlist

The following nail polishes are ones that I would really like to try out and add to my collection(: I chose to just pick out one from each brand because otherwise there would be way way way too many to handle. So, without further ado, here they are:
TopShop - Blue Monday

Accessorize - Coral Flair

Collection 2000 - Dynasty

Models Own - Indian Ocean

Essie - Mint Candy Apple

O.P.I - Nicki Minaj Minis (I know, it's a set I don't care)

The reason I haven't got these yet is because I can't find some of them in local shops or I can't yet justify spending the amount of money on a nail polish... I'm waiting until birthday/Christmas or something(:
What are you favourite nail polishes, or even your most wanted ones?

Review: Revlon Lip Butter

I heard so much about the revlon lip butters online, but it took me a while to actually find any in the drugstores by where I live. I don't know if the just sold out, or if they weren't available yet. It doesn't matter anyway, but I was so excited when I found them and I couldn't wait to try one!
Mine is in the colour 'Sweet Tart' (090)
I wore it properly for the first time today, and to be honest, I wasn't that impressed... I found it to be a little bit sticky and quite drying after a few hours. Even though I wore a bit of lip liner underneath, it didn't last that long and I found myself having to re-apply it often.

However, with all that being said, the colour is really beautiful and suits my skin tone so well! It's a bit of a shame really because I love how it looks on. Overall I think it's a decent product, but it cost about £8 which is fairly expensive for a drugstore lip product. I will use it, and I'm tempted to try some of the other colours, but I don't believe it's worth the price.

Has anyone else tried these yet? Is it just me who thought they were way too hyped up by everyone?

Fashion Inspiration: Zooey Deschanel

I've totally fallen in love with Zooey Deschanel's style lately. It seems like she could make any piece of clothing look amazing. I could go on, but I thought I'd just share some of my favourite pictures of her(: Whos your fashion inspiration at the moment?
I love this dress so much, and her makeup is awesome.
I love how effortlessly gorgeous she looks all the time!

Ugh, no words for this<3

New Nail Polish Shelf

I recently decided that I needed to find a better way to store and display all my nail polishes, they used to just be all in a box and I couldn't see the colours or brands. I was looking at getting an acryilc shelf, but mum found this old spice rack in the garage. It then got cleaned up and had more shelves nailed into it. I really like it now, plus it goes better in my room because it's wooden(:
I have 54 bottles in total, but some are hiding in the back.

Post Number One.

Ahh first ever blog post!^-^
This is exciting, I can't wait to start doing this whole thing properly. Just a few more things to sort out with the layout and stuff, then I'll hopefully decide what to post first. Peace.
